Where is Nha Trang in the Vietnam region system? South, Central Coast, Central Highlands? I can't seem to find any direct matches for Viettravelsthm's latest batch of edits, but he's deleting previous information, adding in blatant touting in semi-incoherent English, and unresponsive to Talk comments.
Should we just revert the whole lot? Jpatokal , 18 October EDT. I edited this description down I don't see any similar experiences on the web. Open late. The place to get drug and rub. Management show their inability to protect the customers. The police doing nothing to stop a gang of Wolfpack stealing customers at the exit of the bar. Management, Security and Police close their eyes on this. No ways to report to the police, all paper work must been done in Vietnamese that why no foreign tourists can complain.
That bar is the shame of Nha Trang. This club is extremely popular. Prostitute all over the place. It is kind of an after party place everyone goes to when other bars are closed. There is a large area with pool table and a dance floor.
In all fairness however, from my experience, I never felt any danger from locals at the Sailing Club. I'd say, the tourists mostly Russian , after a few drinks, appear to be more interested in making trouble, than any locals. I'm of Eastern European descent myself, so this is by no way a bias. You won't see a group of Japanese, or Korean tourists, looking for trouble for example. But it's not all that uncommon, for a group of speedo-clad Russians, after they've had a few drinks, to feel the need to make their presence felt.
The lack of "serious" security, and general interest in keeping things safe, by the owners of The Sailing Club, as well as the police I can't recall even a single instance, of seeing any police presence outside the bar, during busy night hours , is reason enough why I won't be visiting Nha Trang again. By night, this city is ripe with local groups who regularly target tourists for mostly petty, but certainly unpleasant crime, knowing full well, the police seldom, if ever, will take any notice.
